Methodology

At PLJCS we provide education with an objective to empower students to make decisions, to find creative solutions and plan effective strategies.

The curriculum is structured in a manner that keeps your child in touch with the ever-changing world trends, right from the junior years to the senior level. We constantly revamp, reinvent and evaluate the classroom and teaching strategy to create the most appropriate education that your child deserves.

 

“Early childhood Development”

1.       Learning is made interesting fun and activity oriented at this level.

2.       Participation of students is encouraged through activities such as drawing and colouring , Group activities, clay modeling, pottery, puppetry and puzzles.

3.       Poems and stories are dramatized using expressive actions.

4.       Focus is on developing communication skills and on reinforcing an innate sense of discovery.

5.       Children tend to comprehend through a multi sensory approach with the help of multimedia.

6.       Nature walks and regular educational trips to theme parks, water parks develop a sense of openness towards the world.

 

Primary school (Class I to V)

1.       An extensive use of technology aids to supplement classroom teaching.

2.       Project work lays emphasis in developing a strong sense of individuality.

3.       Field trips and excursions make learning fun.

4.       Use of the newspaper articles, quizzes,cross words and other learning tools enhance general awareness.

5.       Home away from home is created to stimulate wonder tools like self discipline and team building spirit.

 

 

 

 

High Class (VI to X)

1.       The emphasis is on conceptual knowledge.

2.       Personality development value education and coping with peer pressure are stressed upon at this stage.

3.       The curriculum is research oriented and based on teamwork vis-a–vis discussions, group project work, discovery and exploration.

4.       Students work in groups and make power-point presentation on subject related topics.

5.       An equal stress is laid on preparing students for the prescribed CBSE syllabus and on preparing the students for the various competitive entrance examination.

 

 

Remedial classes in all subjects are held throughout the year, to enable the students who are unable to meet the high standards set by the school, to clarify their difficulties and come up to the level of their respective classes.
